Free Fall OREEP Workshop in Edmond

OREEP will present a free renewable energy workshop for teachers at the University of Central Oklahoma.  This workshop will give teachers ideas and materials for increasing awareness of alternatives to fossil fuel energy, how to start a pollinator garden, and ideas on additional sustainable practices. These lessons are designed to easily facilitate classroom participation in all grades, with some adaptations for the various levels of instruction. Participants will receive free STEAM lessons plans, supplies including solar and wind energy education kits and supplies for starting a pollinator garden. Sign up using the “Attend a Workshop” form on this website under the “Get Involved” tab.

After attending a workshop, additional kits of supplies needed to perform the renewable energy lessons are available to teachers. If you would like to check out one or more kits of supplies then fill out the OREEP Kit request form under the “Resources” link in the menu and we will work with you to get the kit(s) delivered.
