OREEP Free Workshop in Tulsa

OREEP will present a free renewable energy education workshop for teachers on Saturday April 15th from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The workshop will be conducted in the Aaronson Auditorium in the Tulsa City - County Central Library located at 400 Civic Center in Tulsa. Participants will receive free STEAM lesson plans for teaching about renewable energy and sustainability, free supplies including solar and wind energy education kits, free supplies for starting a pollinator garden, and a $50 stipend. We will spend the day learning about renewable energy and the OREEP curriculum. We want to make it easy for you to teach this important, and growing, component to Oklahoma’s future. We will provide a light breakfast, lunch, and drinks. You will also get a $50 stipend after completing the workshop.

Weatherford Workshop, March 30, 2019

Hello teachers! We are very excited to be able to have a third renewable energy workshop, in Weatherford. Plan to attend the full day workshop and receive new lesson plans, along with the materials needed to teach STEAM based renewable energy curriculum. We will feed you and give you a stipend, as well. We look forward to showing you what we have for teaching to the new future.

Special directions: SWOSU Ballroom. Back to School Bash

Teachers, school staff, and their families are invited to spend an evening at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum to discover what museums and student-based organizations across the Oklahoma City metro and around the state are offering in the upcoming school year. Educators and museum staff will be on hand to answer questions about field trips, free teacher resources, special events, and other opportunities for schools and students. Door prizes will be presented throughout the evening to teachers with identification. Light hors d’oeuvres and cash bar will be provided and the Museum will be open until 8 p.m. Admission to the event and to the Museum is free for educators and their families; registration is requested.
