Lawton OREEP Teacher Workshop

  • Cameron University 2800 West Gore Boulevard Lawton, OK, 73505 United States (map)

Join us for our first in-person teacher workshop since Feb. 2020. Spend the day learning about renewable energy and the OREEP curriculum. You will also learn about pollinator gardens with a Project-Based Learning curriculum designed so that each student creates their own, unique garden and provides multiple resources for additional STEAM activities. Each participant will be given a $50 stipend and an amazing renewable energy kit that includes wind turbines and solar cells plus a starter kit for growing milkweed.

This is a very hands-on workshop so be prepared to use the renewable energy kit and have fun!

*A special field trip may be available after the workshop for those interested. More details to be released soon.*

Sign up by visiting OREEP.org/Volunteer or click on “Attend a workshop” under the Get Involved tab above.
